1. Set the geographic boundary before reviewing ROI
A dashboard can become misleading when a firm treats every location label as the same thing. Your service area may include Azusa, other parts of Los Angeles County, California, or a defined metropolitan area; those are different geographic scopes. The Census record identifies Azusa as a municipality in Los Angeles County, but it does not establish where clients search, call or retain counsel. For an Azusa-focused review, ask whether a location field means the search target, the caller’s location, the matter location or the firm’s service area. Those definitions should not be silently combined.
Recommended approach
Use the consultation to document the geographic meaning of each dashboard field. Review how city, county and statewide tracking would be separated, and decide which geographic labels are useful for your own intake and budget decisions. Do not treat Azusa’s population estimate as a forecast of cases or revenue.
