1. Set the geographic boundary before selecting stories
A page about an event in Anderson is not automatically a page about every person in Shasta County, and a California-wide legal development is not automatically local to Anderson. The Census record identifies Anderson as a municipality and records its county relationship as Shasta County. That distinction matters when you decide whether a story should be framed around Anderson, the county, the state or another service area the firm actually serves. Bosseo’s public Legal News page describes monitoring local and national legal-news sources for a state and matching stories to practice areas. It does not establish that every Anderson or Shasta County query will be covered or that a particular story will attract qualified inquiries.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how geographic scope would be selected for your firm. Review separate examples for an Anderson incident, a Shasta County development and a California legal change, then decide which locations belong in headlines, explanations and calls to action.
