1. Define what “ROI” means for an Acton practice
A dashboard can only answer questions that the firm defines consistently. The Bosseo public page describes leads as contacts classified as Potential New Client, with Current Client, vendor and spam contacts separated from that category. It also describes case-type tagging and attribution by channel and page. Before evaluating the product, decide whether your management question is about inquiries, qualified potential clients, signed matters, retainers or revenue. Those are different events. Acton’s recorded population is a place-level fact, not a substitute for any of those definitions. A firm may serve Acton while also evaluating broader geographic coverage, but the measurement boundary should be explicit.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to demonstrate the path from one contact to its classification, case type, source and matter outcome. Confirm which fields your firm will treat as authoritative and which require staff review. Do not approve a dashboard merely because it displays a large lead total.
