1. Set the geographic scope before reading the numbers
Magnolia city and Columbia County are not interchangeable reporting areas. A firm serving Magnolia may also accept matters elsewhere in Arkansas, but the dashboard should not silently combine city, county, statewide, or other metropolitan data. The Census identifies Magnolia as a municipality in Columbia County and records its 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate as 10,894, with a margin of error of 18. That is useful for naming the market being discussed; it does not demonstrate legal demand or predict revenue. For a Magnolia firm, geographic definitions should therefore be explicit in tracked service-and-city targets, lead views, and planning conversations.
Recommended approach
During the consultation, ask Bosseo to show how city, county, and broader Arkansas views are separated. Decide which geographic labels belong in the firm’s reporting and which should remain outside the calculation. Do not treat the Magnolia population estimate as a forecast of calls or cases.
