1. Define the geography before you interpret a number
The Census Bureau records Show Low as a municipality in Navajo County. Its 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate is 12,102, with a margin of error of 29. That is population context only; it does not establish legal demand, search volume, competition, calls, cases or revenue. A dashboard review should therefore distinguish Show Low city from Navajo County rather than placing both under one unlabeled local total. Ask which city, county, service area or page a ranking, call, form or lead represents. Also ask whether a city field describes the searcher, the landing page or the matter location. Those are different measurements.
Recommended approach
During a Bosseo review, request a plain-language geography definition for every local view. Decide which geography belongs in partner discussions, which belongs in intake reporting and which should remain a search-visibility measure. Do not approve a local ROI view until the firm can tell whether it is reading Show Low city activity, Navajo County activity or a broader Arizona result.
