1. Start with the site and data that must remain intact
A law firm’s hosting review should begin with an inventory, not a server label. Identify the website files, database, forms, media, redirects, domain records, SSL certificate and any other components your current provider manages. Keep email records in the same review, even when email is not hosted with the website. Bosseo’s public hosting page says its migration work can include files, database, DNS, SSL and email records. That gives you a concrete list to reconcile against your current setup. Prescott’s geographic scope matters here: the firm may serve people in Prescott and elsewhere in Yavapai County, but the city population estimate alone does not tell you which website functions matter most. Use your own site inventory and operational experience to decide what cannot be interrupted.
Recommended approach
Ask for a written inventory of assets, owners, access credentials and dependencies before approving a migration. Confirm which items Bosseo will move, which your firm must authorize and which remain with another provider.
