1. Start with Catalina’s actual service area, not a population assumption
Catalina is recorded as a CDP in Pima County, Arizona. The Census population estimate is useful for identifying the place and its scale, but it is not evidence that residents are searching for a particular legal service, calling a particular firm, or producing a predictable number of matters. A Catalina firm may also serve people outside the CDP. Those geographic relationships should be explicit when you review calls: was the caller in Catalina, elsewhere in Pima County, another Arizona location, or outside the firm’s intended service area? Intake Coach can support review of key facts and the purpose of a call, but your firm must decide what geographic information matters to eligibility and follow-up.
Recommended approach
Define the service-area questions your team should ask and the point at which a location answer triggers attorney review, referral, or another response. Measure those decisions from real conversations rather than treating Catalina’s population as a demand forecast.
