1. Define the geography before reading the totals
A local dashboard can become misleading when “Roanoke” means different things to different people. The Census record identifies Roanoke city as a municipality in Randolph County. Your firm may discuss the city, the county, Alabama generally, or another service area, but those are not interchangeable reporting scopes. A useful review should show which geographic target is attached to a keyword, page, call, lead or matter. The population estimate provides context for the named municipality; it does not establish how many people search for legal help or how many matters a firm can obtain.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to demonstrate how city, county and broader Alabama targets are distinguished in the dashboard. Decide which geography belongs in each report definition, and do not combine municipality-level observations with county-level conclusions without labeling the change.
