1. Start with Ozark’s actual service area
Ozark is recorded as a municipality in Dale County, Alabama. The 2020–2024 ACS five-year estimate lists 14,327 residents, with a margin of error of 60. That figure describes the city population; it does not establish legal demand, search volume, competition, call volume or likely case value. It also does not describe every person your firm may serve. Your attribution plan should therefore distinguish Ozark from the rest of Dale County, any other Alabama communities you serve, and inquiries that arrive without a usable location. The useful question is not how many people live in Ozark. It is whether your reporting can show which service pages, channels and intake paths produce inquiries that fit your practice and geographic rules.
Recommended approach
Ask for reporting categories that preserve the difference between Ozark, Dale County and broader Alabama coverage. Decide which location information belongs in intake, which location is relevant to case eligibility, and which geographic labels should appear in management reports. Do not treat the city population as a forecast.
