1. Put the Arab service area into the intake decision
The Census record identifies Arab as a municipality and records relationships with Cullman County and Marshall County. Those are different geographic references, and neither one by itself defines your firm’s service area. Before adopting a video intake, decide whether a visitor should be screened for Arab only, for selected communities in one or both counties, or for a broader Alabama practice. The intake should ask about location only when that answer changes eligibility, routing or review. Do not use the city population as a proxy for visitor volume or legal need.
Recommended approach
Write a geographic rule for each practice area. Then review whether the proposed question path collects enough location information for a responsible decision without treating every visitor from Arab, Cullman County or Marshall County as a suitable matter.
