Once a document is declined, its status shifts to ‘Declined’ in the Documents & Contracts workflows and it is automatically archived, preventing further signing to maintain contractual integrity.
The Email Builder now supports custom values such as Decline Reasons and Reason Body, allowing personalized decline response emails. The dashboard provides a comprehensive view of declined documents, including detailed decline history with information on who declined the document, along with their reasons and timestamp.
How to Use the Feature
Recipient Flow:
Clients can now easily decline documents by clicking the top-right menu within the document, choosing reasons or adding notes, and then submitting. This streamlined process ensures clarity and a quick feedback loop.
